What events do you cater? How many guests can you serve?

If you can dream it, we make it happen. On the social catering scene, we cater everything from glitzy galas to private get togethers. In corporate catering, our office catering clients range from up and coming start-ups to well established icons.

I am not sure what to order, can you suggest something? Do you have custom or curated menus?

Absolutely, we’d be delighted to share our vast experience through a curated menu. If you’re planning a baby shower, a backyard party, or something else and are not sure what to order, please reach out to us at orders@bigcitycatering.ca and we’ll be sure to send over a curated menu.

Do you offer bar services?

Yes, we offer everything from a soft bar to premium liquor and high end cocktails. We also provide Smart Serve certified bartenders for your event. Each bartender is typically scheduled for a 5 hour minimum.

What dietary restrictions do you work with?

Our menus have dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options. We also provide Kosher-style catering and can arrange Halal meats for your event. Please note that we do not operate out of a nut free facility.

Do you cater to events outside of the GTA?

Yes, we cater to events outside of the GTA. Event locations outside the City of Toronto are subject to fees to cover the cost of transportation and travel time for staff members.

We ordered burritos, sandwiches, and salads for an engagement party. All of which were delicious. Service was great too- sent reminders, arrived on time, and gave specific instructions on how to handle food (I.e. what needed to be refrigerated, warmed, etc.)

John was fantastic to work with from booking to event day. On the day of the event, his team were very courteous and brought with them some awesome chefs.
